Is it Time to Declutter?

                  IS IT TIME TO DECLUTTER?

I was just about to take a picture with my phone, and it wouldn’t go through, my phone gave a message that there was not enough room and that my storage was almost full.

So, I went to my settings and found out that certain things that I had deleted were not all the way removed and it was still taking up space.

I was surprised at this because each time I hit delete on a picture or video that I never intended to keep I assume that it has been deleted forever. And to my surprise again once I went to the trash and emptied it, I was then able to have some storage space on my phone for the new pix that I wanted to take.

This reminds me of my life, and I began to think how many times I have thought in my heart that ok I am deleting this problem or concern, and it still lingers and is not all the way deleted. I began to understand that in my life I could only do things through the power in the blood of JESUS.

I needed to understand that just because I desired to make this change in my life did not mean that I shouldn’t invite JESUS to embark on that journey with me. Because no matter what I must understand that I still needed his help.

Matthew 19:26

King James Version

26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

I cannot do it on my own but with the help of the LORD, I can do exploits. I love that in the book of Psalm 18, the Psalmist states that with GOD he can run through troops and leap over walls.

Psalm 18:29-36

King James Version

29 For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.

Do not get me wrong, I am all for being confident. But in whom does your confidence lie? Is it on GOD who created you and who knit you in your mother’s womb? or is it in you? The Bible tells us in the book of Jeremiah 17:7 that “Blessed is the man that trusts in the LORD.”

Jeremiah 17:7

King James Version

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.

Beloved, know that with GOD you can accomplish so much than you can ever imagine. But never go out on your own.

Our Abba father is the one that we can put our confidence in, and he will never let us fail or fall into any trap.

Proverbs 3:26

King James Version

26 For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

I love the Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

Proverbs 3:26

Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

26 For the Lord shall be your confidence, firm and strong, and shall keep your foot from being caught [in a trap or some hidden danger].

You must learn how to invite GOD into every part of your life and in all your affairs. And just as the bible tells us in Proverbs 3:26 (AMPC) our GOD shall be our confidence and that he is the one that will keep our feet from being caught in a trap or any hidden danger. Therefore, we should be very mindful of the importance of inviting GOD into all that we seek to do in our lives.

Trust me I have tried so many things and of course, it wasn’t necessarily bad things, but I still needed to seek the face of GOD and have him help me. He is our Father, and he wants to help us achieve the things that he has put into our hearts to do.

My prayer today friends is that you will begin to lean on GOD like never before in every decision of your life. Before you embark on any journey invite the LORD in. Seek him and he will direct you and he will empower you and give you wisdom. Before you get into any kind of business relationship, pray for, and let the LORD lead you. He will expose anything that will be of hindrance to you and your business because he is the only one who knows the heart’s intent.

Proverbs 3:5-6

King James Version

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

As we are getting ready to celebrate the birth of our savior JESUS. Take some time out to seek the LORD and ask him to help you declutter. Ask him to help you let go of the past things that may be a hindrance to your blessings in this coming year.

GOD loves you so much and he doesn’t want you and me to walk into another season with old baggage and clutter. We need to empty and clean the house so that we may have room enough for the beautiful news that he has for us in JESUS’s name.

Love you all in the name of JESUS.

At his feet,

Ije
