Command Ye me says the LORD.

Command Ye Me, Says the Lord

In Isaiah 45:11 (KJV), the Word of God declares:

“Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.”

What a powerful statement from the Lord Himself! The Almighty God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, is inviting His children to command Him concerning the work of His hands. This verse reveals a profound truth about our relationship with God—He is not a distant deity but a loving Father who desires His children to walk in authority, to know their identity in Him, and to boldly approach His throne with faith.

Understanding the Meaning of “Command Ye Me”

At first glance, the phrase “command ye me” might seem audacious. How can we, mere humans, command the Almighty God? But when we look deeper into the heart of this passage, we see that God is not telling us to order Him around in arrogance. Rather, He is revealing His desire for us to partner with Him, to align with His will, and to boldly declare His promises over our lives.

God is reminding us that He has given us dominion and authority on earth (Genesis 1:26). He has made us joint-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17). He has filled us with His Spirit and given us His Word so that we may decree a thing, and it shall be established unto us (Job 22:28). When we speak His Word in faith, we are not commanding God out of presumption but standing on His promises and activating the power of His Word in our lives.

Pressing Into God and His Word

To truly walk in this authority, we must press into God like never before. We must press into His presence, press into His Word, and press into a deeper relationship with Him. The Lord desires for us to know Him intimately, to trust Him wholeheartedly, and to walk in the confidence of our identity as His beloved children.

The enemy wants to keep us weak, doubting, and afraid. But when we press into God, we grow in faith. We learn to pray bold prayers. We learn to decree and declare His Word with unwavering confidence. We begin to live victoriously, knowing that nothing can separate us from His love (Romans 8:38-39).

The Lord is saying to you today, “Come closer. Seek Me. Know Me. Walk in My authority.” Hallelujah! He is inviting us into a supernatural partnership where we don’t beg in fear but stand in faith.

Living a Victorious Life in Christ

As children of God, we must understand that there is nothing He will withhold from us (Psalm 84:11). He longs for us to walk in victory, to rise above every trial, and to exercise the power of His Word in our lives. But this requires faith. This requires intimacy with Him. This requires a boldness to take Him at His Word and declare His promises over every situation we face.

So, are you ready today, beloved? Are you ready to walk in faith? Are you ready to get closer to the Lord, to press into Him, to pray bold prayers, and to take Him at His Word? The Lord Himself says, “Command ye me.” This is your invitation to walk in divine partnership with God, to speak His Word with authority, and to experience His power in your life.

Conclusion & Prayer

Today, I encourage you to step into a new level of faith. Seek the Lord with all your heart. Meditate on His Word. Pray boldly. Decree His promises. And watch as He moves mightily in your life!

Let’s pray:

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word. Thank You for inviting me into a deeper relationship with You. Lord, help me to walk in faith, to trust in Your promises, and to boldly declare Your Word over my life. Strengthen my spirit, increase my faith, and draw me closer to You every day. I take hold of my identity in Christ, and I stand in the authority You have given me. Thank You, Father, for loving me, for guiding me, and for making me victorious in Christ. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

Beloved, go forth in faith! Press into God and His Word, and walk in the fullness of His promises. Command ye me, says the Lord! Hallelujah!
