Deuteronomy 11:14
I Will Give You Rain In Due Season.
I will give you RAIN!
Deuteronomy 11:14 KJV
14 That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.
The Waiting
As I was pondering on what to write for the blog. I heard clearly in my Spirit. “I will give you rain in due season”. I was in awe because I was in a place where I felt depleted and it seems like all the efforts I have been pouring into my work have not produced fruit. And this has been very discouraging because I am saying to myself, “I know that I heard the LORD correctly but how come it seems like there is not food been produced in all the seeds that have been planted.
But our GOD is ever so faithful, kind, loving, and much more. He sees our pains, our hurts, our deepest desires and nothing concerning us goes on notice with our Abba Father. And amid uncertainties, he remains steadfast and never changes. He is the same yesterday today and forever. He says in how word that our ways are not his ways. His ways are so much higher than ours.
But we are in the middle of challenges it is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. But I know one thing: “If he did it before he will do it again. I put my trust in him because he never fails. His promises to us are always Yes and Amen.
2 Corinthians 1:20 KJV
20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
Even though amid uncertainties there seems to be haziness I choose to trust the one true GOD who said to Jeremiah “Before I formed thee in your mother’s womb I knew you.
Jeremiah 1:5 NIV
5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew[a] you,
before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
Our Savior and redeemer is Sovereign and he never lies. He is not a man that he will lie.
Numbers 23:19 KJV
19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
If he said it then he will surely bring it to pass. He is ever so faithful and you can put your trust in him.
Beloved friends, I do not know what you stand in the need for today but I know one thing and that is that the LORD loves you and he has an amazing plan for your life as he said in the book of Jeremiah Chapter 29 and verse 11. So hold on to JESUS dear friends and know that he is GOD and all power belongs to him and him alone.
Trust that the LORD will send rain as he promised in the book of Deuteronomy Chapter 11 and verse 14.
Heavenly Father,
We come before you with hearts filled with gratitude for your boundless love and unwavering faithfulness. You, who are omnipotent and omniscient, are the one true God whom we adore and exalt above all else.
We lift our voices in praise to you, dear Father, acknowledging your greatness and sovereignty. We humbly beseech you, in the name of your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, to grant us the strength and fortitude to patiently await the fulfillment of your promise of rain, as declared in your holy word.
We firmly believe in your unfailing nature, knowing that you are ever faithful and steadfast in your promises. Guide us, O Lord, to place our complete trust in you, leaning not on our understanding but relying wholeheartedly on your divine wisdom and providence.
In the precious name of Jesus, we offer this prayer, trusting in your faithfulness and rejoicing in the assurance of your steadfast love. Amen.
Be blessed,
At his feet,
Prophet Ijeoma
