IS YOUR HEART BROKEN?
GOD WANTS TO HEAL YOUR BROKEN HEART TODAY.
Sometimes we go through trials and betrayals in relationships, and it hurts. But where do we go or where do we run to when our hearts are broken, and we do not know how to express our feelings to another?
The good news is that we have an amazing Father who is more than able to heal our wounded souls and hearts. In the book of Psalm 34 verse 18, we see that the bible assures us that the LORD is near to those that are brokenhearted.
Psalm 34:18 NIV
18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Our Abba Father is the only one who knows our hearts and sees the pain and the hurt that we cannot speak to another person. Therefore, he is the one to run to when you are hurting when your heart has been crushed. When others have used words to tear you down when those that you call friends stab you in the back. Or when the one that you think you will end up marrying calls things off without any explanation. Beloved whatever has happened that has brought to your heart know that the blood of JESUS is available to you today to calm and bring healing to you.
If it is a broken relationship, I pray that the LORD will heal your heart and that he will give you the courage to forgive, release, and bless. And I pray that you will be able to move on and know that what GOD has in the future for you is so much better than what was in the past.
You mean so much to the LORD and he wants you healed, and he wants you to walk in wholeness,
For me, I have had my share of toxic relationships and ones that had a hidden agenda. But when the LORD started to teach me that I could not afford to let everyone into my schedule. I started to understand that I needed to have boundaries in place. But the thing about boundaries is that when you put them in place a lot of people are not going to be happy. But what I have come to realize is that the ones who are genuine and have no hidden agenda will not be offended by the boundaries. In life, boundaries are very important and must be implemented if you want to have healthy relationships. When I look back at my life, I see so many instances where I have let people too close in my circle that were not supposed to be. Those people were supposed to be on the very outside. As a result, I went through so much pain and heartache in relationships that I should not have ever let happen in the first place.
Additionally, for me, discernment is something that I have been crying to the LORD to increase in my life. You see I have a very kind and sweet heart and often people mistake that for me being a doormat or gullible. Often the LORD will show me the person’s character at first and I am usually shocked because in person that aspect of them has not manifested. And instead of me being cautious because of the warnings the LORD has shown me I still fall into the trap. I know, right? Trust me, I had to go up that mountain a couple of times. But now I am so much better than I was before and if the LORD shows right in the beginning, I keep my distance and love them from afar. I know often we say that experience is the best teacher. But what if we could avoid a lot of heartache by listening to the HOLY SPIRIT and obeying the promptings and the instructions that he gives us? I know that for me I have learned so much from not hiding from the promptings of the LORD when he first warns me about a relationship that is not a good fit for me. But I thank GOD that we serve a GOD who is so loving, kind, and patient. He is a good shepherd, and he understands that we are his sheep of course we know that the sheep make so many mistakes unwittingly and the Shepherd always takes care of them and corrects them if needed with his rod just as the bible tells us in the book of Psalm 23.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Friends, I pray that in this Season and forward you will ask the LORD and pray to him to help you navigate the road of relationships. Pray that the LORD will increase your discernment and that he will show the hidden agenda in people’s hearts when you meet them initially. Do not wait until things start to go bad in your relationships before you start to pray to GOD to reveal their hearts to you. Start in the beginning so that you can know where to place that relationship in your life. When we do this, we are setting ourselves up for success and we are now able to have healthy relationships.
You are Blessed and GOD wants the best for you, and he wants you to live in abundant joy and peace. May GOD bless you friends and always remember that you are precious, and the LORD does not want you to live beneath what he has for you.
